My academy is a unique chess teaching programme which allows children to learn essential information to enable them to rapidly improve their game. Not only does it concentrate on the educational material conveyed to the children, but also on their enjoyment of the game.

The academy runs a monthly weekend event comprising of coaching and fun variant tournaments. The children are enable to enrol on the Chevannes Chess Course which has 5 stages for the children to work through. A bi-annual tournament is run in February and July and you can read about the 1st Chevannes Chess Tournament here.

The academy is also opening a new junior chess club in Wimbledon on Wednesday evenings at the Wimbledon Conservative on Trinity Road, so if you are interested in this new club, feel free to contact me.

I have been working as a chess coach for 6 years, running after school and lunchtime clubs, organising coaching days in homes and doing private work. I thoroughly enjoying coaching children and my aim is to make this academy the most enjoyable but educational experience for the children.
